Our Type R was supplied New by Marshall Honda in Reading & has had the same owner since 3 months old and was pre-registered by Honda, making it a 2 owner car, but 1 private owner since 2004.

It has covered just 85,500 Miles and has a genuinely immense service history, which has 20 documented service stamps, the 1st 7 stamps were at Honda, the following 13 have all been done by the same independent garage, the latest was done at 83,910 Miles but we will also be supplying it with a fresh service and MOT for added peace of mind.

The K20A2 engine in this Type R is an absolute beauty, VTEC crossover is smooth yet satisfying and presents no untoward nasty noises at all, with the typical sewing machine soundtrack on idle all petrol Japanese cars of this era seemed to manage, its 197 Bhp feels strong and ready to go.

We cannot stress this enough; this is not your usual thrashed, passed about example, it presents exceptionally well, we have just given the Nighthawk Black Pearl a 3 stage machine polish and finished with an appropriate Japanese Synthetic Wax Sealant in Soft99’s Fusso Coat which will keep the dirt at bay and the shine locked in for up to 12 Months. We have also had the wheels refurbished in an OEM inspired Grey and had the brake callipers repainted in Heat Proof Red at the same time; to finish we had the rocker cover finished in Wrinkle Red as the original Red Factory Coating was showing its age, it also has had brand new original Honda ‘Civic’ and ‘Type R’ badging on the tailgate.
